Dr. Alexander K. Kim was raised in Northern Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C., where much of his family continues to live today. His educational journey first took him to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing his undergraduate studies, he relocated to New York City to pursue a career in dentistry.
In 1998, Dr. Kim received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the NYU College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, further developing the clinical skills that would serve as the foundation of his career. He has since spent more than two decades providing comprehensive dental care in private practice.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kim has remained committed to continuing education and advanced clinical training. He has completed extensive postgraduate studies through NYU College of Dentistry in areas including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and full mouth reconstruction. This advanced training allows him to provide a broad range of treatment options designed to restore both the health and appearance of his patients’ smiles.
Dr. Kim brings a diverse skill set to the practice, enabling him to care for patients of all ages, from children to adults. In addition to restorative and cosmetic services, he provides Invisalign treatment for both younger and adult patients seeking a more discreet orthodontic solution.
